AKRABU (USA/CA)

During the Midst of Winter, December XXX Anno Sathanas (1995), Count Vampir Scorpios of the vampiric black metal act, Crimson Moon , wrote and recorded five entrancing dirges entitled "Kakos Draconis" (Wicked Dragon) a day before, on, and after the December full moon during an invocation to a force known as Mummu-Tiamat or Tehom, dragon of primordial chaos, Goddess of the Ancient Ones, who layeth beyond the gates. Akrabu consists entirely of acoustic instruments. No synthesizers are used, which puts Akrabu into a whole new realm of ritual orchestrations. The rites within "Kakos Draconis" and the debut cassette album of Akrabu, "Kispu Ina Ina Nekelmu," are actually recorded from a casted circle and the deities conjured are real.
