BESEECH (SWEDEN)

A Gothic Metal act emanating from the town of Borås near Gothenburg. BESEECH, including former CEMETARY drummer Morgan Gredaker, was founded during November of 1992, debuting two years later with a track ‘Edge Of Life’ on the Belgian Shiver label’s series of compilations ‘Sometimes Death Is Better’. A succession of demos, commencing with December 1992’s ‘A Lesser Kind Of Evil’ and the follow up ‘Last Chapter’ led to the band’s third effort ‘Tears’ in 1995 securing the attention of We Bite Records. With contracts signed BESEECH entered the studio to lay down the debut album ‘…From A Bleeding Heart’ with Christian Silver of SUNDOWN acting as producer. Female session vocals came courtesy of Anna Andersen. However, with the completion of the album the band learned that their label was in no position to fund its release. Finally in April 1998 Metal Blade Records issued the record.
