CENTINEX (SWEDEN)

CENTINEX opened their career in September 1990 issuing the debut demo cassette 'End Of Life', recorded at the famous Sunlight Studios, the following year. The band signed to Swedish label Underground for release of the album 'Subconscious Lobotomy', again recorded at Sunlight, which saw a limited release of 1000 copies. The CENTINEX line-up at this juncture comprised twin vocalists Erik and Mattias Lamppu, guitarist Andreas Evaldsson, bass player Martin Schulman and drummer Joakim Gustafsson. A further three track demo session, entitled 'Under The Blackened Sky, followed. Gigging took CENTINEX throughout Sweden, Finland and Poland during 1993. CENTINEX's next cassette release 'Transcend The Dark Chaos', released on the band's own novelly titled Evil Shit Productions in 1994, was repressed by Sphinx Records. The second CENTINEX full-length album 'Malleus Malefaction' was recorded for the Wild Rags label and produced by Peter Tägtgren of HYPOCRISY.
