CHARON (FINLAND)

Charon was found by Antti Karihtala, Teemu Hautamäki, Pasi Sipilä and Jasse Hast in 1992 playing death metal. Spring - "Inexorable Reciprocation"-demo was recorded. Autumn - Promo `93 was recorded and in 1994 - "Dies Irae" -demo was recorded. Another Promo in 1995.  Juha-Pekka Leppäluoto officially took his place in the line-up and recorded another Promo in 1996 changing their style to gothic metal. Finally a record deal with Emanzipation Productions (EMZ) in 1997 and debut album "Sorrowburn" - was released in 1998
