COLEMESIS (COSTA RICA)

Colemesis started as a garage band and a grindcore noise project in 1990. The founders were Fabbian Bonilla and Randall Salas. That same year they release their first demo, “Vivisection”, being the first release of its genre to hit the local market. In 1993 they released their second demo, “Postbiosis”, recorded at Paradox Studios and independently produced. Colemesis signs their recording contract with “C Producciones S.A.” and prepare their first LP for more than a year which was released in 1995 titled “Still Oppression Rules”. They set to play around Central America and later on they moved to Denver, Colorado in the United States in 1997
