DAWN (SWEDEN)

OBDURACY guitarist Andreas Fullmested and MORGUEguitarist Fredrik Söderberg formed DAWN in Linköping during 1991 after they left their respective acts. Membership was completed with additions from FUNERAL FEAST and MESENTARY. The band name DAWN was finally decided upon and was actually taken from an old LEGION demo called "The Dawn", dating from 1986. Their Promo `93" was sent to different record companies and shortly after the American label NECROPOLIS RECORDS expressed their interest.

This is the first Pressing of the demo. Xerox cover and regular tapes. This recording presented an even more refined sound including the change from traditional growling death metal vocals to more black metal oriented high pierced vocal torment, still handled by Henke Forss.
