DEATHCORE (GERMANY)

Speyer based DEATHCORE issued the 1990 debut 'Spontaneous Underground' through the budding Nuclear Blast label. Deathcore had been around since '86 and even prior to the full length had received highly acclaimed reviews from many underground presses at that time. The name "Deathcore" couldn't be more appropriately named, as it is about as much as it gets. They do every styles imaginable for this subgenre, ranging from the monstrous grindings of Blood and Death In Action to the crust of Extreme Noise Terror. Of course Napalm Death IS the reference point for almost everything else.
