DECREPIT (USA/OH)

Death metal band from Ohio. The band was formed in November of ’91 by ex-Mutilation members: Chris Dora/drums/ and Rob Molzan/vocals/. Then in October of ’92 Rob left the band, due to personal interests… and as we searched once again for a replacement, Chris contacted old band members and friends to spread the word. This proved to be a great idea, because Duane/still in Embalmer at the time/ offered to help us out by playing bass on the side. About a month later he left Embalmer altogether, due to personal and musical differences, and agreed to continue playing bass for Decrepit. By that time we had a lot of material written, and were eager to record. After months of rehearsing, we finally entered the studio in March of ’93 to record our first demo entitled: „Hymns Of Grief And Pain”. We added another guitarist to the band/July ’93/. He is Tom Rojack, former guitarist/vocalist of Blood Of Christ.
