KRISTENDOM (FRANCE)

It's way back in 1997 that Kristendom decided to come together and play Atmospheric Thrash/Death in the vein of At The Gates, Slayer, Pantera and Sepultura. Their appearance on several compilations in '97 and '98, on "Shiver" among others, soon made their name popular. The Shiver compilation, which was in fact produced by the band's singer, was largely appreciated in France, Switzerland, the Benelux and Canada. With their first demo in hand, Kristendom managed to play about 30 live gigs in the entire French territory. In '99, the band released its first album "Operator Dead... Post Abandon". It was distributed by Musea at over 800 copies and got excellent media coverage.
