RIPPING CORPSE (USA/NJ)

RIPPING CORPSE was formed in New Jersey on New Year's Day in 1987 by vocalist SCOTT RUTH and guitarist SHAUNE KELLEY. They had worked together in THE BEAST and would share the desire to make brutal Metal music that has stood the test of time. They would join up with drummer BRANDON THOMAS and bassist DAVE BIZZIGOTTI. In the middle of 1987 we released the DEATH WARMED OVER demo and played our first show in spring of 1987 at the brighten bar In New Jersey with THE WORST and BLITSPERE .We then released the SPLATTERED REMAINS demo in 1989 and later the same year we added guitarist ERIK RUTAN. In 1990 we released the three song demo that went by the title "DEMO 3." We had begun to make a name for ourselves in the Death/Thrash Metal circuit and we continued to play shows with Revenant, Human Remains, Kreator, Morbid Angel, Deceased, Immolation, Ect... and we watched the following grow. We entered QUANTUM SOUND STUDIOS in New Jersey to record a full length record DREAMING WITH THE DEAD . This release is a sought after by many metal fans young and old and seems to stand the test of time in the Underground metal scene.
