WARLORD (ENGLAND)


Birmingham's WARLORD was established during 1990 by vocalist / bassist Mark White and guitarists Andy Stone and Mick Gorst, and conducted its first concerts were conducted with the aid of a drum machine. In 1992 Neil Hutton was drafted as drummer and the 'Alien Dictator' demo was cut at Bob Lamb's studio in Kings Heath, Birmingham. Hutton exited in 1995, going on to BENEDICTION and STAMPIN' GROUND. He would be replaced by Neil Farrington. Sometime later Warlord changed their name to Warlord UK. BENEDICTION’s Dave 'Bear' Ingram guests on the 1996 'Maximum Carnage' album, featuring on cover versions of AMEBIX's 'Nobody's Driving' and 'Chain Reaction' plus SLAYER's 'Raining Blood', released by Germany's Nuclear Blast Records.
