WEHRMACHT (USA/OR)

Wehrmacht is an American thrash metal/Hardcore Punk band, that was formed in Portland, Oregon in 1985. The band’s first official output was the infamous 22 song livetape from January 1986, released in Switzerland by Robi Zollinger from the killer Speed Airplay team. This demo here was recorded on April, 8th 1986 and was soon followed by an LP. After two records, the band shortened their name to Macht and released one demo before splitting up. Drummer Brian Lehfeldt went on to play with Cryptic Slaughter and then sang for the now defunct "goofy funk band", Sweaty Nipples. Tito Matos and Marco Zorich formed Spazztic Blurr.
