MASTOC (CANADA)

Mastoc began in 1991. Yannick Lalonde (singer and guitarist) submitted the idea to Gabriel Mailhot (drummer) form a music group franco-phone, rock composition its own directory, which was fairly marginal to this date. In 1992, the practice started. Yannick and Gabriel worked only for developing the musical style of the group. And compositions began to see the day. It was during this period that the Group was called "Mastoc", a synonym of gravity. In November 1997, the Group welcomed a fifth member, Jean-Luc Viau, keyboardiIt, he brings a color any particular-pipeline to the music of Mastoc. As more than full, Mastoc members begin to work to build a directory and prepare a new show. in 1998 As part of a project "live" recording that was to have the Momentum, Mastoc had recorded three compositions that its members are deemed adequate to represent. It was performed to pay tribute to the former guitarist of the group, Bruno Dumas soloist.
