PUTRID (FINLAND)

Ylistaro's PUTRID formed around 1990 and issued the demo 'Exhumation' during 1991. Following a 1992 7" single, entitled 'God Forsaken', on the After World label, the group evolved into GOD FORSAKEN. Further down the line, singer Mika Hankaniemi, together with bassist Mika Pajula, founded FUNERAL PLANET in 2003. This outfit would be joined by other PUTRID veterans, drummer Juha Pohto, also of DIXI INFAMY and VERISTI in January 2005 then Juha Köykkä on guitar that August.
