SACROSANCT (HOLLAND)
Guitarist Randy Meinhard left Pestilence around 1989 to pursue other musical
avenues. His new band, Sacrosanct, went on to record three albums: Truth is,
What is (1990), Recessed for the Depraved (1991) and Tragic Intense (1993,
haunting and depressing thrash). Very soon after leaving Pestilence Randy found
the right singer in Mike Lucarelli and they entered the studio to record their
first four demo songs for the "The Die Is Cast" demo in 1989. Sacrosanct
recorded another demo after their debut album to get a new record deal after the
end of No Remorse Records.
With this demo a new deal for two albums was signed with the German 1
MF-Records-label. It took twenty-one days to record the second album "Recesses
For The Depraved".
